Hello AHS Class of 1978
40 years! Hard to believe!
After graduation, I attended Green River Community College and then Washington State University (GO COUGS!) and graduated in 1982. Started my career in social work/human services at Auburn Youth Resources (now Nexus Youth and Families). I made a career change to Human Resources and joined Weyerhaeuser Company where I spent over 16 years. I married Craig Bunker (AHS Class of 1975-and a Husky Alum) in 1989. I am sad to say that after nearly 29 years of marriage, Craig passed away in December 2017 from Brain Cancer. Craig and I were and always will be the proud parents of Marisa (age 28), a Western Washington University Grad and a Alaska Airlines employee and Chase (age 21) and very social Autistic young man who is active in Special Olympics and other community activities and working part time for City of Auburn Parks Department. For the past 12 years I have been a Career Consultant coaching clients with all types of backgrounds through career transitions, resumes, LinkedIn Profiles and interview preparation. Sorry to miss the reunion due to a close family member wedding. Wishing you all a life filled with Peace, Love and Joy!
